Background
Swami Sachidanand, born in North India embarked on his spiritual journey at an early age, spending much of his childhood in Vedic knowledge & Vedantic Tradition. Vedic knowledge and various Yoga Styles, especially traditional Hatha Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga have been his passions. He loves to share these with the world to cultivate love, peace, joy, and happiness.
Education
He was sent in childhood to an Ashram to study the Sanskrit Language, Yoga, Meditation, and Vedic Scriptures along with contemporary education in the Ashram, on the advice of a family Guru who observed his inclinations towards Self-knowledge and exploration. He Graduated in Yoga Philosophy (Eastern and Western) and Postgraduate from Punjab University, North India. Swami Vinodanand (teenage Guru) taught and initiated him Basic Yogic Kriyas, Pranayamas, and Meditations.
He also got initiated in Traditional Tantra and Mantras from H.H. Avdhoot Baba Shivanand Ji. After completing his University Education and Mastering Basic Yogic Kriyas, He started traveling and sharing the Ancient Vedic Wisdom of the Yogic Lifestyle. He also taught for many years AOL courses and programs at Ashram. He also got trained in the Yoga Alliance Certification Program and registered with Yoga Alliance U.S.A (YA ID 186716)
D'vine Yoga
In 2013 Swami moved to Rishikesh and registered “Art D’vine Yoga”, an organization with the Indian Government, focusing on teaching Vedic Knowledge, and traditional Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh and Dharamshala. In 2015 he registered D'vine Yoga with Yoga Alliance (RYS200, RYS300, RYS500), and started Yoga Teacher Training Courses. Swami has taught and traveled all around the world.
In 2016 Swami completed Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training (AYTTC - 980 Hours) under the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) at Amrita Healing Centre. This course helps him to integrate Western medical science perspectives on Yoga, and Eastern Yogic Wisdom. We are currently based in Rishikesh running “Art D’vine” registered with Govt. of India and “D’vine Yoga” registered with Yoga Alliance (USA).
